Wetsuits – What’s In It?

A wetsuit, also known as a wetsuit suit, is a specially designed clothing worn in cold weather to provide extra warmth when wet. It’s normally made of foam-lined neoprene, is most often worn by swimmers, divers, surfers, windsurfers and others involved in water sports like windsurfing and sailing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as many other water activities. They are usually made from two or more pieces of clothing that have been fused together so they can hold the wearer securely on their boat or plane while they are underwater. Although wetsuits are designed for the water, they are also great choices for sports like snowboarding, skiing and hiking.
