Some of the more common materials are the former two mentioned above, while the latter two can come in all kinds of materials as well. The neoprene material is typically used to make wetsuits because of its ability to be molded to the shape of the wearer. Polyester wetsuits are made from a mixture of neoprene and another type of plastic, although it isn't always the best choice. Both fabrics are commonly used to make the wetsuit that are worn in the water because of their breathable properties.   Wetsuits come in a variety of different styles. A wide range of colors and patterns are available in wetsuits as well, with some being made with bright patterns to help them blend in with the environment and some having darker colors so they can be more easily spotted underwater.
